in limbo
My first term of uni has been officially (almost) over as of last friday. I thankfully only have one exam this term, but it was scheduled for 10 days after the last day of class, giving me an almost absurd amount of time to just exist, and I guess study every now and then.
What I've realized is just how much I need a semblance of routine in my life. My daily routine these past few months has honestly been the most perfect way of living I've ever had. I got to sleep late, wake up (reasonably) late, eat when I'm actually hungry, and be extremely productive almost every day. Now that there's no studio work, nothing really pulling at me in any direction, I'm in an odd state of limbo.
It's exacerbated by the slow but sure goodbyes to every friend I have here, as they slowly finish their exams. Each day is a bit lonelier until finally my turn to go home arrives.
